AIM users were caught off guard Saturday morning when upon launching AIM Today, they were presented with pornographic images. The following attack is the latest in security holes to be discovered in AIM.
Three 17-year-old hackers from Connecticut have claimed responsibility for the latest attack. In addition to the pornographic images the hackers also added sound files to play in the background.
When asked why the decided to hack AIM, one responded "If you are using a program that"s got as many loopholes and gaps as Swiss cheese, then prepare for the consequences."
