Over the past few months, there has been a lot of rumors about the next iPhone. There have been changes to the external looks like its display, and more importantly the location of its Touch ID sensor.
While these are all just leaks or rumors at this point, it appears that at least the design has been getting a little more consistent over the past few weeks and even case manufacturers are starting to produce products.
As anticipation grows for the next iteration of the iPhone, there is mounting concern that Apple will not have enough stock available of its latest handset due to supply constraints. According to DigiTimes, the firm is having trouble sourcing the quantity needed of its display.
While nothing has been confirmed, there is speculation that the handset will offer an OLED panel, which has so far suffered a lower yield rate than the LCDs the firm has used in the past. Samsung Display is said to be supplying the firm with its panels, and it appears that maybe only three to four million devices will be ready to ship at launch.
