Apple is now selling mophie wireless charging pads, AirPower's knockoffs

In March of this year, Apple finally put an end to its plan to introduce AirPower, announced in late 2017 alongside the iPhone X and initially scheduled for release by the end of 2018. Now that the wireless charging pad device from Apple has been canceled, consumers are left only with AirPower knockoffs.

One such product is mophie, a wireless charging brand created by ZAGG. The brand announced today two wireless charging pads for multiple devices and two car chargers, all compatible with Apple"s products.

The wireless chargers are now available for purchase via Apple"s online storefront and will be up for grabs from the tech giant"s physical stores and mophie.com starting next week. The dual wireless charging pad costs $79.95 and it works with iPhone and AirPods, with an extra USB-A port to charge a third USB device like the Apple Watch. There"s also a 3-in-1 wireless charging pad that"s available for $139.95, compatible with iPhone, AirPods, and Apple Watch devices. Both charging pads can juice up Qi-enabled devices at speeds of up to 7.5W.

In addition, the car chargers include a variety of options like the USB-C variant available for $24.95, a dual USB car charger costing $29.95, a single USB-C port with an 18W speed, and a USB-C 18W port alongside one USB-A 12W port.
