iOS 10.1 turns one week old today, but another update is already on the way, as Apple released version 10.1.1. The size of the update varies, as Cult of Mac reports it coming in at 64.2MB on an iPhone 7, but our 6s Plus got an update that"s worth 203.8MB.
The update includes a number of improvements, such as Portrait Mode fixes and public transportation directions for Japan. It also fixes an issue where Health data wasn"t shown for some users.
We"re only seeing the update so far on some of our devices, and the ones that aren"t getting it yet are all on the Developer Beta, so it"s entirely possible that there might be a beta released later today. If there is, it will be iOS 10.2, as we know that there will be an iOS update in December that delivers the new TV app that the company announced at its MacBook Pro launch event last week.
You can update your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch by heading over to Settings -> General -> Software Update.
