Yesterday, Apple released the second developer beta for iOS 12.2. Just as you would expect, the Public Beta build wasn"t far behind, as the firm released the same build to testers today.
iOS 12.2 is a minor update, but there are some features of note. This build adds four new Animojis for users with a device that supports the feature, including the iPhone X family and the new series of iPad Pros. AT&T users that are in a market with 4G LTE Advanced will now find that their device sports a fancy new fake 5G logo, called 5G E.
Here are some other features included in iOS 12.2, as spotted by 9to5Mac:
New Screen Mirroring icon in Control Center
New full screen Apple TV Remote Control Center interface
New “Speakers & TVS” in Home app settings
More detailed Apple Wallet UI for Recent Transactions
Updated details button in Wallet card UI
Tap a transaction for more detail
Card details feature bubbly inset rectangles rows

This is a sort of mid-stream update, with the big news coming in September with iOS 13. That will be announced at WWDC in June, and we should be able to start testing it shortly after. As for iOS 12.2, that will probably be available to the general public sometime next month.
