Apple releases macOS 10.12.2 Developer Beta 2 and iOS 10.2 Public Beta 2

Yesterday, Apple seeded its second Developer Beta builds of iOS 10.2, tvOS 10.1, and watchOS 3.1.1. macOS 10.12.2 Sierra was notably missing from the mix, until today.

macOS 10.12.2 beta 2 comes in with the build number 16C41b. The big new feature is that it supports Unicode 9 emoji, which means that you can finally send bacon and avocados to your friends.

iOS 10.2 Public Beta 2 was also released today to testers. The new build contains the TV app that Apple announced at its MacBook Pro launch event. It also features the ability to call emergency services by pressing the power button five times.

The original iOS 10.2 beta came with a few new features as well. These included support for Unicode 9 emoji, new wallpapers, a Videos widget, fixes for Health data, new Camera settings, and some new tweaks in Music.

If you"re already on the macOS Developer Beta, you can grab the new build by opening the Mac App Store and going to the Updates tab. For iOS 10.2 Public Beta 2, you can head over to Settings -> General -> Software Update.
