Apple today released iOS 10.2 beta 5 to both developers and Public Beta testers, bringing a couple fixes to the next minor iteration of the company"s mobile operating system. The news comes just four days after the firm seeded beta 4.
The release notes for build 14C89 list two fixes. The new TV app will no longer crash or show that content is unavailable on the iPod Touch, and syncing with iTunes 12.5.x will no longer delete content from the app.
While the TV app is the most notable change that you"ll find in iOS 10.2, there"s also support for 72 new emojis with Unicode 9, which include bacon and avocado. There are also a few new wallpapers, which you"ve probably seen before in iPhone 7 promotional images.
Apple promised that the TV app would arrive via a software update in December, so given the frequency of the betas, you can expect it to arrive soon, alongside macOS 10.12.2 Sierra, tvOS 10.1, and watchOS 3.1.1.
