Apple today released the seventh betas for iOS 10.3 and macOS 10.12.4 Sierra, both of which are available to developers and Public Beta testers. They"re actually the second set of builds that were released this week, with beta 6 coming on Monday. There are no new watchOS or tvOS betas today, although the sixth beta of those was released on Tuesday.
The release notes for both builds are the same as they were with the last release. iOS 10.3 will bring some minor new features, such as AirPods support in Find My iPhone, weather forecasts in Maps, and more. There are some known issues, such as SOS only being supported in India, and some SiriKit commands might not work as expected, as they"re still in development.
The macOS release notes don"t specifically have any fixes or known issues listed, but the update"s main front-facing feature will be Night Shift, which lowers the blue light emitted from the screen at night, which should help you to sleep. You can also now use Siri to check cricket scores, schedules, and player rosters from the Indian Premier League and International Cricket Council, and there"s dictation support for Shanghainese.
If you"re not on the beta, you shouldn"t have to wait too long for general availability. The fact that betas are shipping more frequently shows that Apple is prepping for a final release.
