Could the iWatch be one of Apple"s upcoming products?
We’re used to Apple being coy about their upcoming products but this time the company is taking it to the next level. Eddy Cue, SVP and leader of Apple’s media efforts, said publicly that the company’s upcoming product line-up is the best they’ve had in 25 years.
Talking at a technology conference Cue enticed fans by saying “We’ve got the best product pipeline that I’ve seen in my 25 years at Apple”. Of course no product or feature was ever mentioned but we might start to see those soon enough.
Apple has been seen as stagnating for the last three years with their products getting only iterative upgrades. Of course, their products are still some of the best out there but the competition is moving fast and pushing hard and it seems the Cupertino-based company has been somewhat left behind.
With rumors swirling around about major upcoming updates for iOS, the reveal of an iWatch, new home-automation software and hardware and the ever-present never-true Apple TV vapourware being just ready to hit markets, plus Eddy Cue now adding fuel to the fire, Apple is either ready to blow everyone’s minds or to disappoint a whole lot of people.
In either case we’re less than a week away until WWDC, where the future of iOS should be a major topic of discussion and new features are traditionally announced. So there’s isn’t long to wait before a big reveal.
