Images of what appears to be Apple"s "Magic Trackpad" have leaked to the Internet today.
Engadget posted several images of the trackpad device that it says Apple may unveil today at its developer conference. The images appear to show a trackpad which would allow Macs to use all the features of a mighty mouse and possibly some of the features of the MacBook Pro trackpad on desktops.
The leak comes hours before Steve Jobs is scheduled to go on stage at Apple"s WWDC 2010 conference. The Apple CEO is widely expected to announce the next generation iPhone, rumoured to be named the iPhone HD or iPhone Video. Other rumours for product announcements include Safari 5 and free Mobile Me. See our rumour round-up post for more.
Engadget notes that Apple has previously applied for a trademark under the name of "Magic Trackpad" so it"s a safe bet these pictures are genuine. Will Jobs reveal this device later today? Stay tuned to find out, Neowin will be posting up all the latest breaking news from WWDC 2010 later today.
