Apple's new Watch UI lands on Android Wear devices

Well that didn’t take long, did it? If you’re a fan of Apple’s Watch UI design but aren’t in the mood to buy a new device, we’ve got some good news: you can now get Apple’s UI on your Android Wear watch.

Yes that’s right, the folks over at WearFaces have you covered. They’ve launched a new Android Wear watchface, dubbed PEAR, that works on most Android-powered smartwatches. The new watchface bears an uncannily resemblance to Apple’s own design.

Obviously, this is just a UI trick and doesn’t actually offer any of the functionality that Apple showed off, but it’s still a neat gimmick. You might even make a few non-discerning folks jealous by telling them you got early access to the new device before the Apple Watch becomes available early next year.

You can check out WearFaces on their homepage, or in the Google Play store.
