Apple's next iPhone shows up once again in new case render

The successor to the iPhone is probably one of the worst kept secrets in 2017 when it comes to smartphones. While an official date for its launch has not been announced, the device has been seen so much over the past few months that it is quite frankly, no longer interesting. But, a new image has made its way online courtesy of Evan Blass, who has had an excellent track record when it comes to showing off devices before their official launch.

Much like other images of the iPhone 8, you can see that the handset has the same OLED display with the cut outs where the ear piece and front-facing camera lie. The display is near bezel-less and could offer the best display experience of any iPhone to date. While a majority of the other details are covered by the case, as stated before, we have seen it plenty of times over the past few months.

Apple"s iPhone 8 will be one of three entries this year in its smartphone lineup. The handset is said to be priced somewhere north of $1,000 and will be extremely limited when it first releases. While we have grown familiar with the look, there is still the mystery of how Apple will approach the replacement of the Touch ID sensor that is usually on the front. Confirmation of this fact will probably be the most interesting thing we will hear about the handset in the coming months.
