Microsoft today added two more games to the Xbox One Backward Compatibility list, which consists of both Xbox and Xbox 360 games that are playable on the newest generation of consoles. Today"s additions are Assassin"s Creed IV Black Flag and Divinity II - The Dragon Knight Saga.

This brings the list to a total of 485 games, after Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare was added last week. Here are today"s additions:

Assassin"s Creed IV Black Flag ($9.99)

It is 1715. Pirates rule the Caribbean and have established a lawless Republic. Among these outlaws is a fearsome young captain named Edward Kenway. His exploits earn the respect of legends like Blackbeard, but draw him into an ancient war that may destroy everything the pirates have built.

Follow your path through a huge living world; its inhabitants" destiny depends on each one of your choices. Fortunately, both of these games are discounted this week as part of Microsoft"s Deals with Gold, which offers sales to Xbox Live Gold subscribers. Currently, you can get Assassin"s Creed IV Black Flag for $7.99, and you can buy Divinity II - The Dragon Knight Saga for just $7.49.

It"s also a new month, which means that there are all-new Games with Gold for subscribers to claim. The Witness (Xbox One) is free until the end of the month, and you can grab Cars 2: The Video Game (Xbox 360) until April 15. If you"re an Assassin"s Creed fan though, you"ll be able to claim Assassin"s Creed Syndicate (Xbox One) later on this month.
