The monthly updates for Ubisoft"s massively successful action title Assassin"s Creed Origins continue, and for April, the company announced today that it has something special planned for PC players.
Dubbed the Animus Control Panel, this new feature is built to give players more control over their adventures in Ancient Egypt, letting them tweak and refine over 75 parameters in the game. Although the full extent of the panel"s abilities will be revealed at a later date, players will be able to do things like increasing the number of animal companions they can fight alongside with, give Bayek super speed, turn off certain gameplay elements, edit NPC behaviors as well as fighting abilities, and more.
Several more of the options that will be making an appearance can be seen above in the low-resolution screenshot that Ubisoft provided. The parameters will be accessible from the Uplay client, and will be split into 11 different categories with three Ubisoft-created presets available from the start. Players will be able to create their own presets and even share them with other players via the game"s forums.
It will be up to the players on how they tweak the settings, maybe opting to make the game a bit more challenging or just treat the feature as a cheat menu and have Bayek be an invincible Egyptian superhero. Animus Control Panel does not have a specific release date attached to it yet but is expected to land sometime in April exclusively on PC.
