Assassin's Creed Valhalla lands on November 17, gets new trailer and gameplay video

As expected, Ubisoft dedicated a good portion of its Ubisoft Forward presentation today to its upcoming Action RPG Assassin"s Creed Valhalla. Check out the gameplay overview trailer above.

Initially announced on April 29, Valhalla got a more in-depth reveal a day later, when Ubisoft shared that this would be a cross-gen title coming to both current and next-gen consoles. In May, capping off the Inside Xbox for that month, AC Valhalla made another appearance with "gameplay" which consisted mostly of cutscenes.

A few days ago, presumably to the dismay of the publisher, 30 minutes of actual gameplay leaked, but the videos of said gameplay were taken down not long after. Less then a day ago, an Instagram post also let the cat out of the bag in regards to the title"s release date.

Thankfully, you won"t need to go hunting for that ever-elusive trio of gameplay videos that leaked a few days ago, as a full 30-minute video has been uploaded on YouTube by the publisher itself. Have a look:

Assassin"s Creed Valhalla is coming November 17 to Xbox One, PlayStation 4, PC, Google Stadia, Xbox Series X, and PlayStation 5.

It supports Smart Delivery on the Xbox side, meaning you get the next-gen upgrade for free if you buy an Xbox One copy. The same is true for PlayStation 4 owners who will upgrade to the PlayStation 5 further down the line. And yes, this works for both digital and physical versions of the game.
