ASUS launches RTX 3070 Turbo card with a redesigned blower

ASUS has launched the RTX 3070 Turbo. Turbo is the moniker under which ASUS launches its blower-style cards. The company has a redesigned fan shroud this year that"s claimed to optimize the airflow better, especially in the case of multi-GPU setups. The edges have been angled in such a way that the flow of air into the 80mm GPU intake fan takes place in a more unconstrained manner. This could potentially improve noise too, since a major complaint against blower designs is the amount of noise they produce. The angled edges also give the card a more refined look.

The ASUS RTX 3070 Turbo is a two-slot wide card powered by two 8-pin PCIe power connectors. It has a slight bump over reference specs with a boost clock of 1755MHz in the OC Mode. Physically, the card is 269mm long, 112mm deep, and 40mm high. In terms of display outputs, it has a single HDMI 2.1 and three DisplayPorts 1.4a. The card is HDCP 2.3 compliant. The mounting bracket of the card is built with 304 variety of Stainless Steel that"s supposed to improve heat and corrosion resistance.

The price of the ASUS RTX 3070 Turbo hasn"t been disclosed but it shouldn"t be less than the $499 MSRP of the reference Nvidia design.
