Asus makes its ROG STRIX XG27VQ curved monitor available for $349

Asus has released a new gaming monitor that goes by the name of ROG Strix XG27VQ. While it has the same aesthetic as some of the others in the ROG line, this is meant to be a more affordable option when it comes to purchasing a monitor with a curved display.

In order to get the price down, Asus has to make some sacrifices like reducing the size to a 27-inch panel and relying on a 1080p resolution. Despite this, it still offers a 144Hz refresh rate with 300 nits of brightness and support for AMD"s FreeSync technology. The display will also offer support for the firm"s Aura RGB lighting system that will allow users to customize the light emanating from the rear to give your room that perfect glow.

If that wasn"t enough, you"ll also have a shining beacon of the Asus Republic of Gamers logo emblazoned right underneath the stand to let others know you"re serious about your gaming. As for other details, the ROG Strix XG27VQ will have a DisplayPort 1.2, HDMI 1.4, dual-link DVD-D, and a 3.5mm headphone jack.

The ROG Strix XG27VQ is currently available for purchase for $349 and is estimated to begin shipping in one to four weeks.
