Last week, ASUS began rolling out its Android 7.0 Nougat update for the ZenFone 3 family of devices, which it launched in the middle of last year. The rollout began in the Philippines and was expected to soon expand to other markets worldwide.
However, as Android Headlines reports, ASUS has now suspended the deployment of its Nougat update to the ZenFone 3 range. The company has confirmed that the rollout has been delayed, but did not specify the exact reason why.
According to the report, ASUS found a number of bugs after its initial rollout, and these were evidently deemed sufficiently serious for the company to pause its release. It hasn"t yet revealed when it plans to resume the rollout.
Earlier this month, ASUS announced the ZenFone AR, the world"s first handset to support both Google"s Daydream VR platform, and its Tango augmented reality suite.
