ATI is shipping the All-in Wonder Radeon 7500 in North America. Carrying a list price of $199, the multimedia graphics card is choc-ful of PC-on-TV features.
This includes a Windows-based program guide from Gemstar-TV Guide GUIDE Plus+ system. This purports to offer "all the benefits of a Personal Video Recorder (PVR) without the monthly fees". And if you really want to show off you can remote control the programs via RF (radio frequency).
The board is base on the Radeon 7500 GPU graphics chip and is supplied with 64MB off DDR DRAM.
What else? It succeeds the All-in-Wonder Radeon as ATI"s mainstream consumer offering. ATI is a bit of a latecomer to the retail sector, but it has already grabbed a market share in the low teens in the US.
