WE all know that the next Radeon 3 - codenamed R300 - will be the next high end card from ATi. But it seems as though the Canadian firm has some other surprises up its graphic sleeves. Firstly, the R300 will support DirectX 9 and whatever Microsoft makes as part of DirectX 9, this chip should be able to do it.
ATi is keeping popes and frequencies to itself but we do now that the R300 or its next generation card will be developed by ARTX, part of the company.
