The Windows Phone reveal isn"t the only event that is going to go down in New York City tomorrow. According to reports made by Business Insider and Yahoo, Barnes & Noble is gearing up to present a press conference in which the Nook Tablet will be unveiled. With pre-orders to start on the same day and with some of the Tablet"s specifications already at hand, it will be no surprise if Barnes & Noble decides to lay it down tomorrow.
The Nook Tablet, a direct competitor to Amazon"s upcoming Kindle Fire tablet, will pack 1 GB of memory and 16 GB of storage space which is expandable using SD cards. In both areas, this is double than what the Kindle Fire is expected to be included with. With the higher specifications however, does come the higher price. The Tablet will be sold at $249 compared to the Kindle Fire"s price of $199.
The press conference is scheduled for tomorrow, November 7th at 9:45 am, local time. With 10 days left until the release of the Nook Tablet and with the pre-order period around the corner, let"s see if Barnes & Noble has enough to out the fire on the Amazon Kindle.
