hehe look what all those happy campers have been "issued" with now, The Beta ID and Pass is now associated with your .NET passport (no more multiple logins) which means a beta tester is easier to track also back to his default "no holds barred" profile.

This announcement affects all Microsoft BetaPlace users! We are transitioning to a mandatory .NET Passport Single Sign-in Service for BetaPlace beginning Tuesday, July 23, 2002. BetaPlace will be unavailable on Monday, July 22, 2002 at 4:00 PM Pacific Time until Tuesday, July 23, 2002 12:01 AM Pacific Time.
On the morning of Tuesday, July 23, 2002, you will be required to associate your .NET Passport account with your betaID and password. If you previously associated your betaID and password to your .NET Passport account, you will be required to re-associate. Please follow the instructions below to complete your association.
- Go to www.betaplace.com
Select the "Sign In" button
Log on using your .NET Passport Account and password. (If you do not have one you can obtain one from the main login screen)
Choose the "I have been issued a Beta ID and password by Microsoft to associate with my .NET Passport." selection
Enter your betaID : xxxxxx and Password : xxxxxx (please note: your password is case sensitive)
Click "OK"
The association is now complete and you are logged into www.betaplace.com.
