Bethesda announces a one-hour demo for Prey

It seems Bethesda is on a roll this month, giving free access to multiple games from its repertoire. Last week, the publisher revealed a Dishonored 2 free trial, followed by issuing a seven-day unlimited access event for Elder Scrolls Online just yesterday. Today, Bethesda announced a console exclusive demo of the upcoming single-player shooter, Prey, developed by Arkane Studios.

The demo will contain the game"s first hour to play through, with its description taken from the announcement reading:

Morgan Yu is about to have a very bad day. Aliens have escaped containment, dead bodies now litter the hallways of the Talos I space station, survivors are huddled together for safety, and the Typhon aliens are threatening to destroy everything you hold dear. As Morgan, you’ll have to fight the invasion in order to save humanity.

Prey Demo: Opening Hour will be available on April 27 for Xbox One and PlayStation 4. The game will officially launch just a week later on May 5 for PC, Xbox One, and PlayStation 4, with pre-orders available now.
