Yesterday we posted up an overview of just some of the games and game console price cuts that will happen on November 25, otherwise known as Black Friday 2011. Today we try to find some deals related to PC hardware and software from a variety of retailers. In addition to the Black Friday sales, some retailers are jumping the gun and offering some sales this week and on Thanksgiving Day.
As we did with the last article, most of these Black Friday sales deals were spotted with the help of BFAds.net, the single best web site around for finding price cuts on the net.
Best Buy - The big electronics retailer has some good deals on PC hardware related items on Friday. For example you can get an Acer 21.5 inch LCD monitor on that day for $89.99. You can also get a Seagate FreeAgent GoFlex Desk 3 TB external USB 3.0/2.0 hard drive for $99.99, an excellent deal considering we are in a hard drive shortage situation at the moment. If you want a cheap version of Microsoft Office Home and Student 2010 you can get one from Best Buy on Friday for $99.99. If you are buying a new PC from the retailer you can get a copy of the same software for $67.99.
Office Max - If you want to get a new LCD monitor for your PC, Office Max is selling a bunch of them on Black Friday at greatly reduced prices. The AOC 24 inch widescreen LCD monitor will be priced at just $149.99 on that day. Office Max also has two HP widescreen monitors that will be on sale. The 20 inch monitor will be available for $89.99 while the 23 inch monitor gets a price cut down to $139.99.
Staples - Want some free software? Staples is offering Black Friday shoppers a way to get something for nothing .... sort of. There are a number of PC software products that Staples is offering for "free" on Friday after a combo of instant savings and "easy rebates". The free software includes Kaspersky Internet Security 2012, McAfee Total Protection 2012 (three user license), Norton Internet Security 2012 and QuickBooks Online Simple Start 2012. There are some other software deals that are not quite free at Staples during Black Friday including Dragon NaturallySpeaking 11 Home for just $39.99.
TigerDirect - The electronics retailer has already started its Black Friday deals with a number of items on sale right now. They include a D-Link DGL-4500 Xtreme N Selectable Dual Band Gaming Router for just $99.99, an I-Inc 19 inch monitor for just $59.99 (after rebate) and a Viewsonic 24 inch 1080p monitor with two HDMI ports for $199.99.
Once again these are just some of the Black Friday deals that will be available and some will be announced at the last minute so make sure you check with your local retail store or favorite web site for the latest news. Tomorrow we will go over the numerous sales for PC desktops and latops that will go on sale during and even before Black Friday 2011.
