Blendtec: No immediate plans to "blend" Microsoft Surface

They are a company that has become a huge Internet sensation thanks to a series of entertaining YouTube videos. We are speaking of Blendtec, the blender maker who have released a series of videos under the umbrella title "Will it Blend?". They show ordinary objects and products being "blended" by their product.

The company blended the iPhone 5 and the Galaxy S III in one video, and more recently, Blendtec used its machine on the iPad mini, the Nexus 7 and the Kindle Fire HD. So, of course, we wanted to find out if Blendtec was going to target Microsoft"s Surface tablet on its list of upcoming items to be "blended."

Alas, (or thankfully, depending on your point of view) it looks like Blendtec won"t be putting the Windows RT tablet in its machine anytime soon. According to what a spokesperson from the company told Neowin in an email today:

At this time we are not looking to blend the Microsoft tablet due to the recent video we posted. We may look at it a few months down the road. We have a lot of blends on our docket that rank higher than this.

Of course, we are interested to see if the Surface can be blended because of its magnesium case, which has been proven to be very tough under real world conditions.
