Rockstar"s controversial game about high school bullying, known as "Bully," has taken a beating in Brazil, where Judge Flavio Rabello suspended sales of the video game on the grounds that it is too violent for young children and teenagers, Rio Grande do Sul state prosecutor Alcindo Bastos said Thursday. The ban was initially requested by a local youth support center, and companies have 30 days to comply with the judge"s order. According to Batos: "The aggravating factor is that everything in the game takes place inside a school. That is not acceptable."
A spokesman for Rockstar was unaware of the ban and could not immediately comment Thursday.
