Brazil's regulating agency confirms a "Nokia Lumia 435" in the works

It is clear that Microsoft has taken the low-end path towards penetrating the smartphone market with its Windows Phone devices.

With recent reports about most Microsoft"s Windows Phone Store downloads coming from low-end devices, it seems that a new Lumia device is being developed. A "Lumia 435 (RM-1068)" has just passed the ANATEL, or the Agencia Nacional de Telecomunicacoes, a regulating agency similar to the FCC in the United States.

Analyzing the picture above, it seems that this mystery device is apparently named "Nokia Lumia 435." Strangely enough, it is not under the Microsoft name, a deviation from the shift it made upon dropping the Nokia brand, starting with the Lumia 535. Aside from this alleged leak, no other information is available. It is believed though, that it will feature a 4-inch 480x800 display, Snapdragon 200 CPU, and a 5 MP rear camera, yet its difference over the 5xx line which already packs a low set of specifications is still not known.

The Lumia 4xx is also apparently a new trend with the Lumia series, where normally the 5xx devices are the least premium of all Lumia devices.

What do you think? Are we close to seeing a new Lumia device that"s even lower than the 5xx line or is it merely a typo?
