This one"s sure to get a few comments...

Want to be a dancer for Britney Spears? Well, now you can. A new videogame has just hit retailers in which you can audition to be a backup dancer on a virtual concert tour.

Videogame maker THQ announced Thursday that "Britney"s Dance Beat" for PlayStation 2 has been shipped to retailers nationwide. The game lets players audition to be a backup dancer on Spears" virtual concert tour by maneuvering one of six characters through a series of practices and auditions to perfect their dance moves.

"Rhythmic pressing of the right buttons to the beat of Britney"s hit songs will unlock exclusive behind-the-scenes video footage and concert clips," THQ said in a statement. The game also features her music, including new releases "Overprotected" and "I"m a Slave 4 U," as well as "... Baby One More Time," "Oops! ... I Did it Again," and "Stronger."

Additional DVD content includes 360-degree immersive video in which the player controls the camera at a concert with the controller, deciding whether to watch Spears and her dancers on stage, or cheering fans in the crowd.
