After the launch of Windows 10 last week, all eyes are now on Microsoft"s Mobile platform as a new build hasn"t been released for almost a month because Microsoft"s engineers were concentrating on putting the finishing touches on the desktop OS. Now that that"s all done, Microsoft engineers are likely already hard at work coding for a new build of Windows 10 Mobile. A ROM leaked today shows us some of the progress they"ve been making.
Build 10240 for Windows 10 Mobile was, it seems, first spotted by a member of our very own forums. The leak comes out of China and while the leaked build doesn"t seem to include new features and mostly focuses on bug fixes, for those who just can"t wait to get their hands on the latest code to come from Microsoft, it might prove helpful.
It goes without saying, of course, that the leaked build could potentially brick your device and the benefits of installing it might not be very significant, as there are no new features and Gabe has already announced that a new build - more recent that 10240 - will be making its way to Insiders soon.
Thanks to FaiKee for spotting the build!
