Built on Intel vPro, Samsung's new Galaxy Book2 Business PC to ensure multi-level security

Samsung has launched its latest PC, Galaxy Book2 Business, which has been built on the vPro platform and offers advanced security and productivity features for an enhanced hybrid work environment.

By employing the tech giant"s defense-grade security technology, Intel Hardware Shield Technology, the latest device aids in securing embedded processor to protect BIOS. It also comes with a Temper Alert function that identifies and tracks malicious attempts to interfere with security-critical data and terminates PC attacks before the operating system is infiltrated.

EVP and Head of Global Mobile B2B Team, MX Business, KC Choi stated:

We are in a new era where hybrid working is the norm. Enterprises want to ensure their workforce can be their very best in this new environment, with technology that enables creativity, collaboration and productivity, while also protecting themselves from ever-increasing cyber threats. Galaxy Book2 Business is a PC designed for this hybrid world, empowering enterprises with defense-grade security, advanced productivity features and connected Galaxy experiences across devices and operating systems.

By setting a Hardware-based Root of Trust, which validates BIOS and develops a dependable trust chain between the CPU, secure embedded processor, and SPI flash, Galaxy Book2 Business is capable of halting attempts to compromise its system.

In case the device experiences an attack, valuable data is secured with BIOS auto-recovery, which can identify threats during the boot process of the PC and automatically restore the BIOS to a backup copy prior to the corruption. Microsoft Secured-Core PC (SCPC) safeguards each device from kernel and firmware attacks so that malicious code is unable to corrupt the system.

Studio Mode, Auto Framing, and Background Effects allow for optimal performance for hybrid meetings and work. The company"s latest blockchain-based Private Share provides customers with the "safest platform" for encrypting and sharing confidential information. Galaxy Book2 Business can also sync with smartphone apps via Link to Windows to send texts and take calls employing both devices.

The device features a 14" FHD, anti-glare display, and up to 1TB storage capacity. From April, Galaxy Book2 Business will be available in Graphite color, in select markets. To know more about the new product, head over to the dedicated webpage here.
