Bungie reveals new Destiny 2 trailer along with release date and pre-order options

If you are a Destiny fan, chances are the past month has been fairly exciting. First, there was the Activision earnings call that confirmed Destiny 2 was on schedule for a 2017 release. Then, just last week, we saw the release of a couple leaked posters that showed an alleged beta, and a release date in September.

This week, things have gotten a bit more official, with Bungie starting the hype train by releasing a teaser trailer and now a full blown reveal trailer to the world.

While there isn"t any gameplay footage in the new video, there is a small description about the game which can be read below.

"Humanity’s last safe city has fallen to an overwhelming invasion force led by Ghaul, the imposing commander of the brutal Red Legion. He has stripped the city’s Guardians of their power, and forced the survivors to flee. You will venture to mysterious, unexplored worlds of our solar system to discover an arsenal of weapons and devastating new combat abilities. To defeat the Red Legion and confront Ghaul, you must reunite humanity’s scattered heroes, stand together, and fight back to reclaim our home."

Along with the reveal trailer, comes the possibilityy to pre-order the game on the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC. The title will come in a variety of different editions, and will start at $59.99. Perhaps best of all, those that pre-order will gain access to an early beta. The game will be released on September 8.
