Microsoft may be showing the next Xbox game console at its Redmond, Washington headquarters for the first time in public on May 21st, but now we know at least one of the games that will make its live premiere during the press event.
Activision has confirmed that not only will the next game in the mega popular Call of Duty series will be titles Call of Duty: Ghosts but that it will make its public premiere as part of the next Xbox reveal event. As expected, Infinity Ward, which has been in charge of the Modern Warfare branch of the series. will be developing the new game
Activision has released a teaser trailer which you can see above this post. As you can see, there"s no actual gameplay but rather a live action trailer that has a military masks theme. Details about Call of Duty: Ghosts are pretty scarce at the moment, with Activision saying only, "The new title delivers a riveting all-new gameplay experience built on an entirely new story, setting and cast of characters, all powered by a new, next generation Call of Duty engine that redefines the series for the next generation."
The game will be released on November 5th for the PC, PS3 and Xbox 360. It will also be released on "next generation platforms" but its likely that those versions may not be ready by November 5th.
