Camera+ comes to iPad with new features

Camera+, the super popular photo-editing app for iPhone is now available for iPad. The app isn"t universal, which means you will have to buy the app again, even if you have the iPhone version, however it is priced at just $0.99 for a limited time, so it shouldn"t hurt your pockets too much. The iPad version includes everything you will be used to on the iPhone, including filters, cropping, borders, and touch-up tools. New features include a burst mode, a camera stabilization tool, iCloud syncing between devices and enhanced effects and features.

Speaking on the release of the iPad version, developer tap tap tap said,

...there’s always been an empty iPad-shaped hole in our hearts. On behalf of the team I’m thrilled to introduce Camera+ for iPad.We’ve taken parts of Camera+ for iPhone, and completely reimagined, redesigned, and rebuilt others. We’ve created what we believe is the most intuitive, powerful, and beautiful editing experience on the iPad. We thought about everything that makes Camera+ great, and what we would change to have it shine on the iPad. We could have simply enlarged the existing editing interface, but people use their iPads differently. Camera+ on the iPhone is about getting great results, as quickly as possible.

Camera+ has sold over 9 million copies since release and became the #1 paid non-game app of the year in 2011, tap tap tap is likely to push the success even further with the iPad version.
