LG"s long-awaited V30 launch is less than 12 hours away, at the time of this writing. The handset will be launched in Berlin at IFA 2017, at 9am CEST, or 3am Eastern Time, on August 31.
While this will be the full reveal, LG has been gradually announcing various features of the device. We"ve learned that it"s going to include a 6-inch P-OLED FullVision display, but it will have an 18:9 aspect ratio and a 2880x1440 resolution, so it will actually be smaller than the 5.7-inch 16:9 display on the V20.
And speaking of the screen, the secondary display is now gone in favor of an Always-On Display while the V30 is asleep and a Floating Bar for when it"s awake. Surely, the firm will talk more about that.
But as the V-series always has, the V30 focuses on camera features, with an f/1.6 lens that"s made out of glass, rather than plastic. And finally, LG is improving the 32-bit Hi-Fi Quad DAC that was found in the V20.
So, with so many details of the V30 already having been revealed, what else is there? You"ll have to watch the live-stream below to find out:
