Capcom is once again teaming up with iam8bit in order to create a set of limited edition products that focus on the celebration of the 30th anniversary of Mega Man.
There will be two limited edition cartridges available for purchase, with each cartridge being made in two different colors. As you can see from the first image, the most common version of Mega Man 2 will arrive in an opaque light blue color, with 7,500 being produced. There will also be a translucent glow in the dark variant with a 1,000 units in total.
As you can imagine, the cartridge will be playable and will also come in a proper box, mimicking the original NES packaging. There will also be an instruction manual inside the box, along with other surprises.
There will also be a Mega Man X cartridge made available as well. This will come in two colors, with the rarer version being a translucent glow in the dark variant.
There will be 8,500 total pieces and you do not get a choice of color. Each cartridge will be packed and shipped randomly, with the company stating that your chances of getting a rarer version being one in eight. Each cartridge will cost $100 and are expected to be shipped sometime in September. If interested, you can check out the source link below to purchase.
