Check out what's inside Samsung's Galaxy S8 and Galaxy S8+ with this teardown

It has been nearly a month since Samsung officially unveiled the Galaxy S8 and Galaxy S8+. Both handsets offer an amazing design that is built around its Infinity Display, while also offering top-tier specifications that are currently the best on the market. But what happens when Samsung"s latest devices get damaged or are in need of repair? A few days before its release, the smartphones have been torn down to give those interested a better look from the inside out.

Like most smartphone or gadget releases, iFixit has gotten their hands on the Galaxy S8 and S8+ and taken each apart - piece by piece. As you might have expected, although the handsets look beautiful, they are not the easiest to work with when it comes to the repair process. While dismantling, the firm noted that the glass front and back panels are adhered to the frame extremely well, making it very difficult to access the internal components. They also stated that, due to the curved display, it would be extremely difficult to replace the glass without damaging it. Overall, the handsets received a four out of ten when it comes to the ease of repair.

While its ability to be repaired might not be top notch, early reviews so far have been fairly positive. The Galaxy S8 and Galaxy S8+ will be available at carriers starting on April 21 in the US and will arrive in Europe starting on April 28.
