Chuwi debuted its Hi9 Air Android gaming tablet during CES 2018. At the time, the details were scarce, but the firm did manage to release more details about the device last month and now, the tablet is finally available for purchase, which is priced at $199.99 for a limited time.
The Hi9 Air is being positioned as a gaming tablet and packs a MediaTek Helio X20 SoC, 4GB RAM, and also 64GB of internal storage. The tablet utilizes a large 10.1-inch IPS LCD with a resolution of 2560 x 1600. As far as portability goes, it measures in at a thickness of 7.9mm, so packing this in a tight space should be no problem. As for software, it will come with Android Oreo and is being touted to have the capability of lasting up to 5.5 hours under heavy use, thanks to its 8,000mAh battery.
If you are someone that is always on the go, finding a Wi-Fi hotspot might not be an option. Luckily, Chuwi has thought of this and has also made the Hi9 Air with a 4G LTE radio inside. The firm does state that the tablet will offer support for carriers globally, with its dual SIM card slots, featuring support for the following bands:
- GSM: B2/3/5/8,
- CDMA1X: BC0,
- WCDMA: B1/2/5/8,
- CDMA2000: BC0,
- TD-SDMA: B34/39,
- FDD-LTE: B1/3/4/5/7/20,
- TDD-LTE: B38, 39, 40, 41.
Those interested can purchase the tablet from the Banggood online store for $199.99 until April 19, after which it will go back to its normal price of $239.99.
