During CES 2018, Chuwi debuted a few new devices, one of them being an Android tablet, the Hi9 Air. Now the firm has shared more details regarding the tablet like its specifications and its design.
Chuwi is positioning its Hi9 Air as a gaming tablet and as such has packed it with Mediatek Helio X20 SoC, 4GB RAM, and also 64GB of internal storage. As far as the display goes, it will have a 10.1-inch IPS LCD with a resolution of 2560 x 1600. The device appears to look quite sleek with its full metal body and will measure in at 8.2mm in thickness.
But what makes this tablet different from previous iterations from Chuwi is that it will have a 4G LTE radio inside that will offer support for carriers globally. It will have a dual SIM slot that will allow users to take advantage of wireless data on the go. The firm has detailed that the following bands will be supported: GSM: B2/3/5/8, CDMA1X: BC0, WCDMA: B1/2/5/8, CDMA2000: BC0, TD-SDMA: B34/39, FDD-LTE: B1/3/4/5/7/20, TDD-LTE: B38, 39, 40, 41.
Currently, the firm has not announced pricing but if you are outside of Asia you can expect it to land on sites like GearBest in the near future.
