It was only five months ago that Chuwi introduced its SurBook laptop that had similarities to the Surface Pro 4. Now, the firm is getting ready to add a smaller companion to the lineup with the SurBook Mini.
The SurBook Mini, as you can guess by the name, is a bit smaller than the original model and will arrive with a 10.8-inch 1920 x 1280 IPS display with touch capabilities. It will be powered by an Intel Apollo Lake N3450 processor coupled with 4GB RAM. As far as storage goes, the device will have 64GB built-in and will also pack a USB Type-C port, two USB Type-A, and a 3.5mm headphone jack.
While the original SurBook was a cheaper replacement option for the Surface Pro 4 coming in at $299, this new model is most likely aimed at those that want something similar to a Surface 3, which has been out of production for a little while. According to the firm, the SurBook Mini will make its debut in November, during the Chinese Shopping Festival season that starts on November 11.
