Metroid, Dr. Mario, Zelda II, Castlevania now available for the GBA in all their eight-bit glory.
Remember the 80"s? Nintendo sure as heck does. The publisher announced today that the second volume of its Classic NES Series for the Game Boy Advance has shipped and is available now at retail stores. The series features ports of four historic games that made their debut on the Nintendo Entertainment System nearly two decades ago: Dr. Mario, Metroid, Zelda II: The Adventure of Link, and Castlevania.
Culled from the second and third series of Famicom Mini titles that Nintendo released in Japan, the lineup of four titles is half the size of the first Classic NES Series that Nintendo released earlier this year along with NES-themed GBA SP hardware. All four games are rated "E" for Everyone and carry an SRP of $19.99 each.
