Company of Heroes 2 is free to claim on Steam until Monday

It has been over five years since Relic Entertainment released Company of Heroes 2 and the studio is celebrating by hosting a giveaway on Steam which runs until Monday.

The freebie is the World War II real-time strategy title"s original base game, which comes with the Soviet campaign as well as the German and Soviet armies to use in multiplayer modes, may it be co-op or head-to-head.

But being a Sega-published game, there is quite a lot of DLC and expansions available, from more armies like The British Forces and Oberkommando West to use in the multiplayer portion to a single-player campaign featuring the American Armed Forces. All of these armies have feature sets and units catering to different play styles without being overpowered to make sure multiplayer remains balanced.

Company of Heroes 2 normally comes in at $19.99, but until Monday, December 10 at 6pm GMT, it is available to claim for free through its Steam store page. All of the aforementioned major DLC packs have been discounted by 75% for the duration as well.
