With Computex taking place over the past week, there have been a lot of interesting announcements. While there are many retail ready products being shown at the convention, there are also experimental prototypes or one-offs as well. What you see above is the Concept Zeus by Corsair, a wireless mouse that offers Qi wireless charging.
The concept is fairly intelligent in that a certain section of the mouse pad is delegated for wireless charging using Qi technology. Since it is using Qi, you can also place any other compatible device, like a smartphone, on the pad as well for charging.
As you can see in the image, the charging area is located in the upper right corner. By having such a small area dedicated to charging, it makes the process more efficient versus having the charging coil spread across the whole pad. Again, this product is just a concept and is not currently available for purchase. But that doesn"t mean that we won"t see this in a future product at some point.
