Crackdown 3 launches February 15 for Xbox One and Windows 10, multiplayer trailer out

Following a long development period and several delays, we finally have release date confirmation for Crackdown 3. Microsoft announced today at its X018 event stream that the over-the-top action title will be launching on February 15, 2018.

Alongside a new trailer featuring Terry Crews, a new multiplayer mode was also unveiled during the stream named Wrecking Zone. The mode pits two teams of five against each other in the massively destructible environments that have been touted about the game for a while.

Speaking of destruction, the Azure cloud services-powered demolition was featured heavily as well, where players can completely level entire buildings to the ground using various powerful weaponry and powers.

The game will be playable on the Xbox One family of consoles and Windows 10 PCs. And, as with all upcoming Microsoft platform exclusives, Crackdown 3 will also arrive to the Xbox Game Pass program at launch. Here are the PC system requirements that were revealed recently.

Moreover, Microsoft is currently giving away the original Crackdown on Xbox Marketplace, which is playable on both Xbox 360 as well as the Xbox One thanks to backward compatibility. The giveaway will last until the end of November.
