CD Projekt RED"s highly anticipated RPG, Cyberpunk 2077, is now confirmed to be making an appearance at E3 this year. The confirmation arrived through the game"s official Twitter account, which is a far cry from last year, where only rumors were hinting at an appearance before the game"s unveiling during Microsoft"s conference.
It"s highly likely that the game will once again be shown off during Microsoft"s allotted time in the E3 spotlight. The studio"s previous trailers and gameplay demos of The Witcher 3 and Cyberpunk 2077 have all gone up on Microsoft"s stage. Also, considering Sony is skipping out on E3 this year, CD Projekt RED doesn"t have many options to choose from.
The Polish studio didn"t say what exactly will it show about the dystopian title, so it could be another in-engine trailer, more gameplay - like the 48 minutes of early in development footage that was released last year - or something else altogether.
There have been rumors of Cyberpunk 2077 releasing in 2019, but officially we still have yet to get a release window confirmation from CD Projekt RED. In any case, E3 2019 is set to kick off in June and we should start seeing announcements like these from publishers start ramping up soon.
