CD Projekt RED broadcasted the fourth episode of its Night City Wire series today, once again showcasing aspects of its upcoming highly-anticipated RPG Cyberpunk 2077. This time on the show, the spotlight was cast on a multitude of cars and motorcycles players will be driving in the game as they explore Night City.
Vehicles are split into various classes that go from basic junk versions owned by random citizens that don"t offer much in terms of power to high-end sports variants, armored trucks, and luxury vehicles. All interiors are fully modeled as well, and these pre-made customizations will change depending on where the vehicle was being used before the player procured it.
It isn"t all made-up cars and brands, however, as CD Projekt RED is collaborating with Porche to bring the classic 911 Turbo to the game. The car of the Keanu Reeves-played character Johnny Silverhand in Cyberpunk 2077 will be this custom "century-old" 1977 Porche.
Also confirmed were races, which will be available both in Night City and in its outskirts, Badlands, so players are encouraged to pick a suitable vehicle depending on the terrain they will be racing in. Players will be able to fill up on their stock of vehicles by both purchasing and stealing them, and a summoning system for easy access was also confirmed today.
The studio also shared several more trailers, going into detail on the fashion scene in Night City, the real-world sound capture process of vehicles, Keanu Reeves" Arch Motorcycle company collaboration, as well another one of its CGI adverts:
Cyberpunk 2077 is releasing on PC, Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and Google Stadia on November 19, with an Xbox Series S|X and PlayStation 5 enhanced edition coming later as a free upgrade to owners of the current-gen console version.
