Many of you will be waiting up tonight to either download or get your hands on a boxed copy of World of Warcraft: Cataclysm, which launches at midnight around the world. There are many launch events taking place and we can expect to see many players dressing up for the occasion. We will be running a review of the game next week after we have played some of the new content alongside everyone else.
Not too much news around today at the start of the week, but we do have details about the new Tomb Raider reboot and a number of new PlayStation Mini releases which will include Angry Birds.

New Tomb Raider game announced
Square Enix has announced the latest Lara Croft game. "Tomb Raider" is the new title that the company has clearly had to think long and hard about. The game is yet another reboot of the franchise. You can see the first image of the new look Lara Croft in the latest issue of Game Informer. The good news is that Square have left the game in the hands of Crystal Dynamics once more which bodes well when the game is released early in 2012.
Fallout: New Vegas patch near to release
An official Fallout tweet has made mention that the upcoming patch for Fallout: New Vegas has now been submitted and should soon see its way onto the PlayStation 3, Xbox 360 and on Steam for Windows. The patch fixes numerous bugs and even tweaks the performance of the game slightly.

Pixeline and the Jungle Treasure released
Osao has released Pixeline and the Jungle Treasure has now been released on both the iPhone/iPod and the iPad. The game is a simple side-scrolling adventure game that is spread over 23 levels across five worlds. You get to control various characters which have special skills to make use of. A number of new PlayStation mini titles are heading our way this month, the first and most prominent release is Pac-Man Championship Edition, which came out earlier today. Here is a list of the rest of the titles that have either been released or are due out later this month:
