Deadlight: Director's Cut is free to grab on the GOG store for the next two days

Our favorite DRM-free PC game store, GOG, is hosting another giveaway, this time handing out Deadlight: Director"s Cut. For those unfamiliar, the game is a side-scrolling survival game by Tequila Works, set in a zombie apocalyptic world.

The player takes the role of Randall Wayne, who is on an almost hopeless mission to find his family in the city of Seattle. Enemies consist of hordes of zombies that are called Shadows, along with a violent human faction named "New Law" that has assumed control of the city. Throughout most of the game, full on combat is discouraged, as enemies are plenty while stamina and ammo are not.

As this is the Director"s Cut version of the original Deadlight from 2012, the game features updated controls and animations to make the player character more agile, as well as improved textures and visuals. The game also ships with a horde game mode titled Survival Arena, where the player is given new weapons, interactive methods to block zombies, and online leaderboards to compete in.

Deadlight: Director"s Cut is now available to grab on its GOG store page for free, with the offer running for the next two days, and as with all games sold in the store, it comes DRM-free.
