As part of Amazon"s Deal of the Day offerings, the Fire HD 8 tablet + Blink Mini Camera has been discounted down 40% off to just $74.99 (normally $124.98) for the 32GB model which is a savings of $49.99. The 64GB model also received a slightly lesser discount of 32% off, bringing its price down to just $104.99 saving $49.99 off the $154.98 list price.

As a reminder, this Fire HD 8 tablet is the 10th generation 2020 release and is available in Black, Plum, Twilight Blue or White. It includes a Quad-core 2.0GHz processor with 2 GB of RAM, and either 32GB or 64GB of onboard storage (expandable for up to 1TB with microSD). It also has Dolby Atmos for a premium audio experience and a 1280x800 189 ppi display.

There"s also a feature called Show Mode, which pretty much turns the tablet into an Echo Show. It will show you news, weather, camera feeds, and so on. The big difference now is that you previously either had to have the screen on or have the device plugged in to access Alexa features like that and now you don"t.

The Blink Mini Camera supports 1080P HD and is an indoor, plug-in security camera with motion detection and two way audio that lets you monitor the inside of your home day and night. It can also be setup to show alerts on a smartphone whenever motion is detected or in customized motion detection zones. The Blink Mini also supports two-way audio so you can see, hear, and speak to people and pets in your home via a smartphone.

This Fire HD 8 + Blink Mini Camera bundle also comes standard with a 90-day limited warranty but an optional one, two or three years can be purchased separately upon check out.
