The iPhone 5 has officially hit, with pre-orders starting at 12:01am PDT this morning on the Apple Store app, and the online store going live roughly 50 minutes later.
The new, longer, better, game changing, revolutionary iPhone. K, i"ll shut up now.
But to all the people who have already pre-ordered their device and are eagerly awaiting it to drop through their letterbox on September 21st, you might have to wait a little longer as there is a two week delivery time frame on the phones, rather than the one week initially stated (and expected).
Demand for the latest and greatest iPhone is high, but it appears even Apple have been taken aback slightly by the demand for the device. Depending on how many of the handsets Apple have ready to ship, demand might be incomprehensibly, and understandably, high!
With Apple being its usual pessimistic self, regarding the delivery times, all users will be hoping that their shiny new iPhone 5 arrive on, or within a day or two of, the September 21st release.
Apple and its customers will be hoping it is hype and high demand that’s prompting the slightly longer delivery and not issues with the manufacturing process.
