Dell refreshes its Inspiron PCs, including a 16-inch model with 11th-gen H-series CPUs

Today, Dell is announcing new mainstream laptops from its Inspiron brand. At the top-end is an all-new Inspiron 16 Plus, a 16-inch laptop that packs a 3,072x1,920 display, which means it has a 16:10 aspect ratio, and a ton of power.

It has Intel"s 11th-generation H-series processors, which haven"t been announced yet. Still, they"re set to be Intel"s newest 45W processors that bring all the power. On top of that, you can get it with Nvidia"s GeForce RTX 3060 graphics, so it can be used for anything from gaming to video editing.

Inspiron 16 Plus

Naturally, it comes with Thunderbolt 4, an upgrade for Dell, which used the base spec for Thunderbolt 3 in the bulk of its products. That means that you can connect dual 4K displays on a port instead of one, and you can get 40Gbps speeds instead of 20Gbps. The color of the PC that you see above is called Mist Blue.

Inspiron 15

Another one that comes in Mist Blue, along with Platinum Silver, is the new Inspiron 15. This one is a bit more traditional with a 16:9 display. And despite being a 15-inch laptop, it doesn"t offer Intel"s upcoming 45W processors; instead, you can get it with Tiger Lake-H35 processors, which are quad-core and come with a 35W TDP. Of course, if Tiger Lake-H35 isn"t quite your speed, there are options for AMD Ryzen 5000 with Radeon graphics instead.

Interestingly, the new Inspiron 14 and Inspiron 13 also come with similar options. Indeed, Tiger Lake-H35 is all about fitting more power in a smaller chassis, so that"s what we"re seeing.

Inspiron 14 2-in-1

Finally, the Inspiron 14 2-in-1 is a bit more straightforward, offering traditional 15W 11th-gen Intel processors or AMD Ryzen 5000 processors, along with their respective integrated graphics. It comes in Pebble Green and Mist Blue.

The Inspiron 13 is available todat starting at $599, while the Inspiron 14, 14 2-in-1, and 15 are all coming May 4 starting at $549.99, $729, and $549.99, respectively. Finally, the Inspiron 16 Plus will arrive in North America on June 3, starting at $949.99.
